After graduating from The Aveda Institute in Toronto, I continued working with Aveda in Burlington for 5 years. Though I performed colour and cut, I knew right away that cutting was what I was passionate about. I love textured and lived in haircuts, affectionately called, “Haircuts that don’t look like you just had a haircut”.
Although I had never particularly enjoyed colour, I was scouted on Instagram for a hair salon that specialized in colour and blonding services. This is when I started to really enjoy colour; especially dimensional highlights, fashion colours, and colour blocking.

Jo is fantastic! I wanted bangs but was nervous because I haven’t had them since I was little. She talked me through my ideas and have me advice for style based on my hair type and face shape. While she cut my hair, she showed me how to style my new bang and recommended products for me to use going forward. 11/10, I will be coming back!
